Logistics Coordinator
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain processes, ensuring efficient materials handling, and facilitating effective communication between vendors and internal departments. This role coordinates all processes and functions to ensure that carrier vehicles arrive at the warehouse at the scheduled time. This position requires strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes.ResponsibilitiesEnsure on-time pickups and deliveries through communication and coordination with carriers.Provide visibility to management through tracking, monitoring, auditing, researching, and resolving operational issues.Verify truck arrival within the scheduled Pickup Appointment date & time, and confirm the vehicle's location and expected arrival time.Request rescheduling for recovery in the case of truck no-shows.Identify high-frequency truck no-show carriers through shipment data analysis.QualificationsKorean/English Bilingual PreferredHigh school diploma or equivalentBachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management preferredAbility to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize time-sensitive situationsProficiency in TMS (Transportation Management Systems), Excel, Power BI, or similar toolsUnderstanding of transportation processes, hazardous materials regulations, and safety management standardsStrong problem-solving and crisis management skills, with excellent communication abilitiesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to learn and utilize necessary management systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience in logistics/transportation/Supply Chain Management (SCM) (Entry-level candidates are also welcome)Fluency in both Korean and English – Able to communicate effectively with global clients and carriersHands-on experience with ISO Tank and hazardous materials dispatchingBackground in 3PL logistics companies or carrier dispatch operationsFamiliarity with transportation processes, hazardous materials regulations, and safety management standards** This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
