We’re looking for a skilled Project/Program Manager to support internal Professional Services initiatives and help drive cross-functional work forward. This fully remote 12+ month contract is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an operationally focused role, enjoys creating structure from ambiguity, and can keep multiple priorities moving with confidence.ResponsibilitiesLead internal Professional Services initiatives from start to finish, including scope definition, milestone planning, ownership, and timelinesMaintain project plans, dashboards, and status reporting to provide leadership with clear visibility into progress, risks, and next stepsPartner with teams across delivery, operations, sales, and related functions to remove blockers and keep initiatives on trackFacilitate recurring program reviews and ensure action items, deadlines, and responsibilities are followed throughIdentify risks, dependencies, and resourcing concerns early, and recommend practical solutionsDocument processes, decisions, and updates so work remains organized and sustainable over timeSupport a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities while keeping projects aligned and moving forwardSkills5+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in a professional services, consulting, or technology environmentProven ability to manage several initiatives at once while balancing competing prioritiesStrong stakeholder management skills with clear written and verbal communicationComfort working independently with minimal oversightExperience using project tracking and reporting tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, or JiraAbility to turn data and updates into concise, actionable status reportingStrong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solvingPreferred SkillsPMP, Agile, or a similar certificationExperience improving processes and building durable documentationBackground supporting internal operational initiatives in a collaborative environmentAbility to adapt quickly when priorities shiftHorizontal is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment where diverse perspectives are valued and respected.
