Job Description:* Application Platform(KAP) is an initiative to develop common development toolset/framework for an application team to quickly get started on their Cloud journey. As part of KAP Data track, we are looking for DevOps engineers to help us with automating and building scripts to provision infrastructure for Azure data platform services.What are the top 3 must have skills that these candidates need to have to be considered?:1. At least one configuration deployment tool (Terraform, Ansible or Chef)2. Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or GitLab)3. Experience with any Cloud data platforms deploymentREQUIRED SKILLS:7+ years of professional experience3+ years of Terraform and Azure Automation experienceExperience managing and provisioning Infrastructure as code components in CloudHands-on experience of programming in languages such as Python, bash, go etc.Experience architecting cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, or GitLabHands-on experience designing & deploying Highly available Azure Cloud data platforms.Experience deploying incremental changes and manage production deployment pipelines.Experience working in an Agile, fast paced, DevOps EnvironmentSupport internal customers in adopting the developed automated patternsStrong presentation, verbal, and written communications skillsADDITIONAL SKILLS:Knowledge of deployment of Cloud data platforms such as MS SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, etcKnowledge of Data services and Event services (EventHub, Event Grid, Service Bus) in AzureKnowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewallExperience implementing and designing cloud native security concepts, DevSecOps or MLOpsAbility to lead effectively across organizations and engagements, preferably from a professional services organization or similarKey Responsibilities:Automate and build scripts to provision infrastructure for Azure data platform servicesEnhance existing templates that are already build (Ex: Integrate with ServiceNow)Assist * application teams in utilizing templates and support as neededPresent new capabilities/features developed to broader audience
