Low Voltage Technician

DescriptionWe currently have openings for Low Voltage Technicians in our Electrical Division. We are looking for technicians who are willing to work in and around the Columbus Ohio area.Duties will include:Pulling and installing low voltage type cabling (i.e.-voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call, fiber optic, etc.)Cross connect cablePerform fiber splicing and terminationTerminate cable according to color codesTest for polarity and connectivity and repairInstall racks and patch panelsSet up in computer roomsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent1-5 years experience working in electrical or low voltage tradeBICSI certification is a PLUS!Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and experience of a Low Voltage TechnicianExcellent safety record and the ability to promote a safe and profitable work environmentValid driver's licenseAbility to perform work at varying heights in liftsExcellent communication skillsWilling to travel daily to jobsites in all mobile work locations in Ohio
