Fiber Engineer

Responsibilities Design, engineer, and redline Fiber network infrastructure routes for new communities using 3GIS Fiber Management Tool and GoNetspeed standards. Create splice packages for construction and repairs using 3GIS. Coordinate and communicate with other departments and contractors such as pole permit contractors and fiber construction teams. Assist in engineering, financial planning, and documentation of network builds, including budgets. Track make‑ready bills and applications. Required Skills Project management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications. Experience with splicing procedures. Extensive knowledge of outside plant construction. Proven planning and organization skills in a dynamic, high‑growth work environment. Education Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry related to project design and outside plant engineering.
