Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Engineer to support equipment reliability, maintenance optimization, and facility operations in a fast-paced industrial environment. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for developing maintenance strategies, improving asset performance, leading root cause investigations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This Maintenance Engineer role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence. The ideal Maintenance Engineer will have experience supporting production equipment, facility infrastructure, and maintenance best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, availability, and asset life.
Analyze equipment performance and maintenance data to drive reliability improvements, monitor KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, uptime), and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve equipment failures and recurring reliability issues.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems while supporting maintenance and operations teams.
Develop and maintain maintenance procedures, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation to support safe and effective maintenance execution.
Manage asset information within CMMS/EAM systems, including work orders, maintenance history, PM compliance, equipment records, and performance reporting.
Support spare parts optimization, critical asset management, major repairs, shutdowns, outages, and maintenance planning activities.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and reliability best practices to enhance equipment effectiveness and operational performance.
Support capital projects, equipment installations, commissioning, facility upgrades, and contractor activities, ensuring reliability and maintainability requirements are incorporated into equipment design and execution.
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, lockout/tagout (LOTO), permit-to-work programs, risk assessments, audits, and environmental standards.
Maintain equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, and technical records while developing dashboards and reports to support data-driven maintenance and reliability decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline required.
3-7 years of maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance experience.
Experience supporting production equipment and facility infrastructure.
Experience with CMMS systems and maintenance best practices.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
Understanding of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Pay: $45.42 - $47.50 per hour
