Machine Learning Engineer - Python

Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and validate machine learning models and model components. Build and improve model training pipelines, inference systems, and supporting infrastructure. Implement data pipelines, evaluation systems, numerical methods, and reproducible ML workflows. Use Python and command-line tools to solve complex engineering problems. Debug numerical errors, performance bottlenecks, memory issues, and system-level failures. Optimize model execution, computational efficiency, memory usage, and throughput. Create, solve, review, and validate challenging machine learning engineering tasks. Verify that implementations meet defined correctness, reproducibility, and performance specifications. Use coding agents effectively to support coding, debugging, implementation, and validation workflows. Document technical approaches and ensure solutions meet project requirements.

Required Qualifications: A master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline. Strong professional or research experience in Machine Learning. Advanced practical proficiency in Python programming. Hands-on experience using coding agents within a Python development workflow. Understanding of machine learning model development, training, inference, and evaluation. Experience building reproducible programmatic workflows using Python and command-line tools. Strong debugging, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Ability to independently develop, test, review, and validate technically complex implementations. Ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work within defined task specifications.
