Position Overview:
The Chemical Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of RASIRC Chemicals and the day-to-day management of chemical production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the chemical production
Conduct/oversee chemical blending and fill
Supervise manufacturing activities including scheduling, chemical blending, vaporizer servicing, equipment maintenance, and routine testing of chemical purity.
Ensure timely order fulfillment including processing of
Define training programs for all
Set productivity goals for each
Focus on continuous improvement by collaborating with the manufacturing engineering
Collaborate with R&D/Engineering and provide support when
Ensure an ongoing focus on safety and environmental
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical services or chemical
Proficient use of written and verbal
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and
Ability to set-up, run and maintain analytical instrumentation used for the collection of experimental data, such as GCs, FTIRs, trace water analyzers, and particle counters.
Ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment with changing
Self-motivated and
Requires working with dangerous and/or toxic substances and industrial equipment.
Ability to work in controlled environments following all applicable safety and cleanliness
Ability to lift approximately 35
Up to 15% travel time
What We Offer:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000/year depending on experience and qualifications.
