Product Development Manager (Character/Licensed)

Our headquarters are located in NYC, where we continue to earn accolades for excellence in product design, merchandising, and logistics.Overview We are seeking two experienced Product Development Managers – one for Lifestyle Brands and one for Character Licenses - to lead our product innovation initiatives and oversee the entire lifecycle of jewelry and accessory products. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to drive product excellence from concept through sales. The ideal candidate will excel in managing cross-functional teams, utilizing agile methodologies, and leveraging advanced tools to ensure timely and high-quality product launches that meet market demands.DutiesLead the end-to-end product development process, including concept gathering, design, sourcing, and launch.Concept (market research) and line planning.Communication with overseas vendors to source and produce product.Collaborate with Design, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Sales teams to align product strategies with business objectives.Manage project timelines.Oversee technical aspects of product development.Present project updates to Sales, Design and Packaging.RequirementsProven experience in product management or product development, specifically in mid-tier jewelry and accessories, is REQUIRED.Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement; capable of translating technical concepts into clear language.Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field is a plus.
