Controls Engineer SupervisorRoswell, GA | ✈ Regular Travel Across Georgia | 🏭 Aggregates / Asphalt / Ready‑Mix / Heavy Industrial.We are working with a nationally recognized construction materials producer looking to bring on a Controls Engineer Supervisor to lead automation, controls design, and engineering support across multiple facilities throughout Georgia.This role will oversee process control projects, supervise engineering personnel, and drive automation standards across aggregate, asphalt, and ready‑mix operations.What you'll be doingLead and supervise process control engineering activities across multiple plant locationsOversee design and development of PLC and HMI systems from concept through installationSupport plant networks, wireless systems, and firewall configurationProvide technical direction to contractors, integrators, and internal teamsMentor regional electrical staff and Process Control Engineers on safe and best‑practice methodsManage, upgrade, and standardize existing control systems across all sitesPrepare cost estimates, project schedules, and technical documentationParticipate in project reviews and ensure feasibility, accuracy, and compliance with standardsSupport troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of plant automationWhat they are looking for?7+ years of experience with heavy industrial control systems (aggregates, mining, asphalt, ready‑mix, or similar)Strong PLC/HMI experience (Allen‑Bradley / Rockwell required)Hands‑on troubleshooting skills and field installation experienceExperience with industrial control networks and system architectureAbility to lead engineering personnel and manage multiple projectsKnowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and NEMA standards is a plusProficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint; AutoCAD experience preferredAdditional Skills that are a plusExperience with Wonderware / AVEVA, Historian, or industrial reporting toolsFamiliarity with SQL Server or MES systemsB.S. in Electrical Engineering or related technical disciplineLocation & TravelThis position is based in Roswell, GA with regular travel required to support plant operations and project work across the state.
