Position Type:Adult Education Teaching/Adult Education InstructorDate Posted:6/26/2024Location:Warren County Career CenterDate Available:ongoingClosing Date:ongoingDistrict:Warren County Career Center Open Position: Fire/EMS Instructor Adult Education, Adjunct Status (part-time, as needed, up to 28hrs/week).This can be filled by more than one person.Location: Warren County Career Center, Main Campus- Adult Education, Main CampusGeneral Job Description:This individual will serve as the instructor for adult students enrolled in Fire Science courses offered by Warren County Career Center.Qualifications:Five years of recent, skilled (verifiable) Fire/EMS experienceValid State of Ohio Firefighter II certificationValid State of Ohio Fire Instructor certificationValid State of Ohio Advanced EMT or Paramedic certificationValid State of Ohio EMS Instructor certificationValid American Heart Association BLS Instructor certification (preferred)Teaching experience is desiredWillingness to work with students and colleagues as a team memberStrong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong organizational and technology skillsHistory of good job attendanceValid Licensure/Permit by the Ohio Department of Education as an Adult Education Instructor (or be willing to obtain credential)Adheres to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio EducatorsMaintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
