Bandsaw Operator 1st ShiftThe Bandsaw Operator is responsible for safely cutting and portioning raw materials using industrial bandsaw equipment within a food manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring product quality, yield accuracy, and production efficiency.We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual with prior bandsaw experience who can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.Pay Range: $25.00 $30.00/hour (DOE) Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and internal equity.Schedule: 1st Shift Hours may vary; overtime and weekends as needed Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.What You'll DoOperate industrial bandsaw equipment to cut and portion product to specificationsRead and follow production orders, cut sheets, and product specificationsEnsure accuracy in cuts, portion sizes, and product yieldMaintain consistent quality while meeting production standardsInspect product for quality and report any issues or inconsistenciesFollow all safety procedures when operating cutting equipmentMaintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with GMP standardsProperly handle and store tools and equipmentSupport production team as neededPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll NeedPrior bandsaw experience required (food production or similar environment preferred)Experience in meat processing or food manufacturing is a strong plusWoodworking or similar cutting experience is highly desirableStrong attention to detail and precision cutting skillsAbility to follow instructions and production specificationsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong safety awareness when working with sharp equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeFrequent use of hands and arms for cutting and handling productAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 poundsAbility to work in cold environments (3050F)Must be able to wear required PPE, including cut-resistant gearWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a refrigerated food manufacturing facility with exposure to sharp equipment, cold temperatures, and wet conditions.
