Senior Accountant

Job Description This is a high-visibility role reporting into senior accounting leadership, working closely with FP&A, Treasury, AP/AR, and operational leaders across 30 business units. You’ll be stepping into a role that blends technical accounting, leadership, and process improvement, with strong exposure to acquisitions and a multi-entity environment. Responsibilities Own key pieces of the month-end close, including more complex areas such as payroll, accruals, intercompany, and acquisition-related entries Review staff accountant work and act as a go-to resource for technical questions and issue resolution Partner with operational leaders to resolve accounting questions and improve processes across the business Lead and review balance sheet reconciliations and help ensure accuracy across the GL Support audit activities and assist with internal controls and process enhancements Play a key role in onboarding newly acquired entities, including purchase accounting and integration into the consolidated financials Drive special projects tied to system improvements and process standardization Benefits 3 days work from home per week Requirements 2–4 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred) Must be able to commute weekly to office located within St. Louis Metro Area.
