1-10About the RoleThe Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its political action committee, which is dedicated to politically activating and supporting candidates who champion LGBTQ and women's rights, as well as social, racial, and economic justice. The successful candidate will be a proven strategic innovator with a strong background in leadership and management, and a deep passion for the values and mission of the organization. Responsibilities for the Executive Director include devising and implementing political, organizing, and educational strategies, leading all operations, and designing and executing fundraising efforts. The role also involves overseeing media and marketing strategies, representing the organization in the public sphere, and working closely with the Board of Directors on strategic planning and governance.Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a demonstrated record of success in fundraising, including experience in political fundraising, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, both in writing and speaking, and have the ability to inspire and engage diverse communities. Experience in financial management, compliance, and budgeting is essential, as is the ability to work under pressure and multitask with a positive attitude.
