Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized kitchen shift supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our establishment’s food production staff. This part of the operation is a non-cooking kitchen that is packaging meals for delivery to individuals and other establishments. This individual must be organized to oversee operations and assign tasks to staff. The shift supervisor is responsible for enforcing health and safety regulations and ensuring that products meet the company's standards. The ideal candidate will have culinary and management experience. This individual must have no criminal background, can pass a drug screen, and have a valid driver's license with minimal points. Responsibilities:
Assign tasks to staff members.
Supervise staff to ensure that tasks are completed on time and according to safety laws.
Open up the warehouse at the start of the day.
Follow all food safety regulations regarding food preparation, storage, and handling.
Provide employees with training on food preparation and safety procedures.
Identify and resolve issues by coordinating with managers from other departments.
Establish employee schedules, including the hiring of new employees when necessary.
Evaluate staff performance and provide training where necessary.
Confers with management and/or subordinates to resolve worker problems and complaints.
Regularly inspect the premises for cleanliness and maintenance issues.
Ensure that all employees are working efficiently and monitoring their attendance rates.

Requirements:
Industry-related experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer literacy skills.
Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to problem-solve.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
Capability to lead, coach, inspire, and motivate employees to develop effective teamwork and achieve outstanding performance standards.
Lift up to 55 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
