The Stress Engineer will perform detailed stress and structural analyses for aircraft components and assemblies, using both classical hand calculations and computer-aided methods. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting design requirements, reviewing engineering drawings and 3D models, assessing load conditions, and verifying that structures meet strength, stability, fatigue, and safety criteria. The role includes preparing clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations to support design decisions, as well as collaborating with design engineering, manufacturing, and test teams to resolve structural issues and optimize designs. The Stress Engineer will also support design changes, participate in design reviews, and ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.Qualifications Strong skills in Stress Analysis and Structural Analysis, including experience with analytical and numerical methods.Experience in Design Engineering and the ability to interpret and contribute to engineering drawings and 3D models.Proficiency in performing engineering Calculations to evaluate strength, stiffness, fatigue, and damage tolerance.Background in Aircraft structures or aerospace systems, with familiarity with relevant materials and certification requirements.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field.Experience with industry-standard analysis tools (e.g., finite element analysis software) and CAD environments.Ability to document results clearly, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment.
