Our practice is dedicated to helping clients reimagine how they sell, serve, and grow across every channel and business model. This is not a single-platform role. You will work across the full spectrum of modern commerce spanning B2B, B2C, and direct-to-consumer, bringing deep fluency across our platform partners including Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, and a range of other leading commerce platforms that we deploy on behalf of our clients. Equally important is your orientation toward what is coming next. Agentic commerce, where AI begins to play a role in how buyers discover, evaluate, and make purchasing decisions, is an emerging shift that our clients are starting to ask about and plan for. You will help them think through what it means for their business and how to position themselves well as the landscape evolves.ResponsibilitiesYour impact will include:Selling across the full commerce landscape.Leading complex, consultative sales engagements across B2B, B2C, and D2C commerce from platform implementations to managed services, integrations, and ongoing optimization programs.Being a platform expert clients trust.Bringing genuine depth across leading commerce platforms including Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, and other platforms we work with across our practice.Pairing that with broad familiarity with the e-commerce ecosystem so clients see you as a knowledgeable advisor, not just a salesperson.Helping clients navigate the shift toward agentic commerce.Staying current on how AI is beginning to influence commerce experiences and buying behaviors.Helping clients understand where the space is heading and having grounded, practical conversations about how they can begin thinking about and preparing for this evolution over time.Driving platform partner relationships.Working closely with Adobe, Shopify Plus, and our other platform partners as a trusted co-seller, attending partner planning sessions, sourcing and registering deals, and representing our practice's capabilities in joint pursuits.Owning the full sales cycle.Qualifying, developing, and closing new business while expanding existing accounts.Managing pipeline with discipline, forecasting accurately, and bringing deals across the finish line through clear commercial terms and executive alignment.Collaborating across the practice.Partnering closely with commerce delivery resources to scope engagements and ensure clean handoffs from sale to delivery.Working in close coordination with our alliances and business development teams to identify opportunities, align on partner-sourced pipeline, and bring the full weight of the practice to every pursuit.QualificationsYour skills and experience will include:Commerce platform fluency.Meaningful familiarity with leading commerce platforms including Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, and other platforms across the enterprise commerce landscape, with enough depth to speak credibly about implementation approaches, migration considerations, and platform trade-offs.Broad working knowledge of the e-commerce ecosystem and how the major categories of technology work together to power modern commerce experiences.Experience selling or delivering work through platform partner channels, including co-selling motions, deal registration, and partner program participation.Enterprise sales experience.5+ years selling enterprise software, digital services, or commerce solutions with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.Comfort managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving IT, marketing, ecommerce operations, and C-suite buyers simultaneously.Skilled at writing and presenting compelling proposals, statements of work, and business cases tailored to both technical and business audiences.Agentic commerce awareness.An interest in and awareness of how AI is beginning to shape commerce experiences, buyer behavior, and the broader digital landscape.Comfort having early-stage, exploratory conversations with clients about where commerce is heading and what questions they should be asking as the space develops.A learning mindset and the ability to translate emerging trends into practical, relevant guidance for clients at different stages of their own understanding.Pay Range$160,000 - $250,000The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient.
