Assistant Principal 2026-2027 School Year

Scope The Assistant Principal works efficiently with the Principal to coordinate and direct all aspects of the program on the individual campus. They will work to facilitate a school culture in accordance to the Family and Faculty handbook. Other responsibilities shall be carried out under the direction and guidance of the Principal.QualificationsThe candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spiritA daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of schoolCommitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of FaithAgreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankindThe ideal candidate shall possess the following:A Master's Degree in School Administration and Leadership preferredEligibility for ACSI certificationAccountabilities / ResponsibilitiesFacilitate any necessary disciplinary actions for studentWork closely with the Office of Admissions to help coordinate school admissionsAssist the Principal in the interviewing of prospective familiesAttend regular teacher, Department Head and support personnel meetingsAssist in teacher and staff evaluationsConduct tours when neededAct as the liaison between faculty and all administrative officesAssist in the implementation of the academic programsAttend necessary workshops and conferences to remain current on educational and spiritual issuesServe as liaison between the schools with regards to preparing students for transitionAssist with the updating of Family and Faculty handbooksWork closely with Principal and Education Resource Department to implement programs in the classroomsOutcomesOngoing leadership, assistance and guidance to PrincipalEnrollment of qualified studentsChrist-like relationships with colleagues, peers and parentsClear verbal and written communication with colleagues, parents and administrationClear planning and preparation for eventsNeeds of student are addressed with collaboration of Teacher, parent and supportDelivery of directions and procedures are clear and understood by Teachers/staffReporting Relationship
