We are not able to sponsor VISAsResume must be in EnglishLocation: RemoteEngagement: Contract, Long Term, Full TimeThe Opportunity:We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Python Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team building scalable cloud-native applications on a modern microservices platform.This role is primarily focused on Python backend development, while also contributing to full-stack solutions, cloud architecture, and high-quality automated testing practices. You will work closely with engineers, SRE teams, and global stakeholders to deliver robust and highly scalable services.The ideal candidate is an experienced Python engineer who understands modern distributed systems, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable backend services using PythonBuild and maintain RESTful APIs and microservicesContribute to full-stack development, integrating backend services with modern UI frameworksImplement automated testing strategies including unit and integration testsDevelop and deploy applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deploymentImplement Infrastructure as Code for cloud resource managementOptimize performance and reliability of distributed servicesCollaborate with SRE, product, and engineering teams across global time zonesParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to system designLead technical design discussions and architecture decisionsMentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practicesDrive technical ownership of data workflows end-to-endRequired Qualifications (Must-Have)s:Strong professional experience developing backend services in PythonExperience building REST APIs and microservices using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or DjangoHands-on experience developing and deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP acceptable)Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience implementing automated testing using frameworks such as pytest or unittestExperience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, Terraform, Pulumi, or ARM templatesExperience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databasesExperience working in collaborative engineering environments and distributed teamsExperience Skills:High-volume data processing and optimizationTroubleshooting in high-pressure production environmentsSoft Skills:Strong communication skills for technical and business interactionAbility to work effectively with India-based and global teamsProblem-solving with a holistic, end-to-end perspectiveNice to Have:Experience with data processing libraries (Pandas / Polars)Experience with gRPC servicesExperience building systems that process large datasetsKnowledge of application security patternsExperience integrating Excel or data-heavy workflows into applicationsFamiliarity with observability and monitoring tools
