In-Kind Distribution Coordinator

DescriptionCoordinate pantry operations and in-kind donations for WINGS, including inventory tracking, order fulfillment, and distribution support.Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pantry environment while supporting daily pantry operations. Receive, sort, store, track, and distribute in-kind donations in accordance with program procedures and maintain accurate inventory records. Monitor inventory levels, communicate supply needs or concerns to the In-Kind Program Supervisor, and process pantry requests within established timeframes. Prepare and coordinate items for delivery, pickup, and distribution at program sites, special events, and seasonal distributions. Support pantry volunteers through day-to-day coordination, task direction, and ongoing assistance. Conduct outreach to approved WINGS graduates, maintain accurate notes, and complete required documentation and routine reports. Assist with donor education events, donation drives, stewardship activities, and other in-kind program initiatives. Provide professional, responsive customer service to internal and external stakeholders and perform other duties as assigned.Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in inventory, warehouse, pantry, delivery, or related support work preferred. Strong organization and communication skills; professional, dependable, and able to handle sensitive information appropriately. Ability to work independently, stay flexible, and work well with others. Valid Illinois driver’s license, reliable transportation, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record required; ability to drive agency vehicles required. Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including regularly lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
