Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team, bringing expertise in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology. This role will involve providing care in a fast-paced environment and contributing to patient outcomes through skilled monitoring and sedation practices. Shift Information Shifts: 10-hour days Weekend Requirements: To Be Determined On-Call Requirements: 8-10 days per month Key Responsibilities Provide patient care in cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology settings. Administer moderate sedation as needed during procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of current experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology. Experience providing moderate sedation is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required; declinations will not be approved. Please include your vaccination status in your application profile. Possession of an active Illinois nursing license is necessary. Prior travel experience is highly preferred. Experience with Cerner electronic health records is also highly preferred.
