Senior Project Manager - RNG Developer

AD Energy are partnered with a rapidly growing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) developer who are continuing to expand their project delivery team across North America. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the development and execution of RNG infrastructure projects across the United States.This is a high-impact role that will take ownership of projects from late-stage development through engineering, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while coordinating across internal stakeholders, EPC contractors, engineering teams, utilities, and third-party vendors.The position will be based in Houston, Texas, with travel required to project sites as needed.Key Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle delivery of RNG projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and operational turnoverManage project schedules, budgets, scope, risk mitigation, and overall execution strategyCoordinate with engineering teams, EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, utilities, and regulatory bodiesDrive project performance while ensuring compliance with environmental, health & safety, and operational standardsMonitor project milestones and proactively resolve technical, commercial, or construction-related issuesSupport procurement activities, contractor negotiations, and vendor management processesProvide regular project reporting and updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholdersOversee construction activities and ensure alignment between field execution and project objectivesWork closely with development and commercial teams to support project feasibility and execution planningEnsure successful commissioning and transition into operationsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline7+ years of project management experience within RNG, biogas, renewable energy, midstream, oil & gas, or industrial infrastructure projectsProven experience managing complex capital projects through full project lifecycle deliveryStrong understanding of EPC execution, construction management, commissioning, and contractor oversightExperience working on renewable natural gas, anaerobic digestion, landfill gas, wastewater, or gas processing projects is highly preferredStrong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, contracts, and project riskExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPMP certification is considered advantageousAbility to travel to project sites across the United States as requiredWhat’s on Offer:Opportunity to join a rapidly growing RNG developer with significant project backingLong-term career progression within one of the fastest-growing sectors in renewable energyExposure to large-scale infrastructure projects helping drive decarbonisation across North AmericaCompetitive salary, bonus structure, and benefits packageFor more information or to discuss the opportunity confidentially, please contact AD Energy.
