Apartment Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified Preferred)

Job Description We are currently seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team! We have recently purchased more properties and need to add to our already established team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks. THIS IS NOT AN HVAC ONLY POSITION, but an HVAC Certification is preferred. MUST be open to weekends and overtime as needed. PAY DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE.Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.RESPONSIBILITES:Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashionMaintain the grounds (including shoveling and salt in the winter)Estimate time and extent of repairsCommunicate accurately with the Management teamPunctual and great attendanceCleaning the apartments once they are turned - prepping for a move in.HVAC CERTIFIED**Perform routine preventive maintenanceExperience with light plumbing, painting, and patchingSome construction or remodel experience preferredMaintain material and supply inventoryOversee work performed by outside contractors as necessaryMust be willing to work at other Properties, though you will primarily be at your 'home' propertyQUALIFICATIONS:GREAT ATTITUDEPrevious experience in maintenance or other related fieldsFamiliarity with maintenance tools and equipment - MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOOLSOpen to weekend and overtime as neededAbility to handle physical workloadDeadline and detail-orientedCompany DescriptionWe are a tight-knit, privately-owned company.
