Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Residential Patrol in Highland Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a mobile patrol officer supporting a residential community, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and help reduce security-related incidents through strong presence and clear communication. This is a driving and armed post, so you will operate a vehicle and carry your issued equipment while documenting observations and assisting residents and staff with professionalism. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and policy violations. Control access through gates, garages, and entry points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs as required, and directing individuals to the appropriate location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with resident concerns, medical calls, fire alarms, and disturbances, and contacting emergency services when needed. Document observations, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate pertinent information to the site representative and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age.. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
