Programmer Analyst

***This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems - Collaborate with business analysts and users to gather requirements and design solutions - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using various programming languages and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, .NET, and XML - Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues - Implement system enhancements and upgrades to improve performance and functionality - Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met - Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other relevant documentation - Provide technical support and assistance to end-users as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Strong knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols - Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools - Proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby on Rails, .NET, XML, and object-oriented programming (OOP) - Familiarity with system hardening techniques to ensure security and compliance - Knowledge of virtualization technologies and tools (e.g., VMWare) - Experience with Windows Deployment Services (WDS) for image deployment - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is a plus - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Job Types: Full-time, Contract Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
