This is a part-time (900-hours), non-exempt, staff position. The Administrative Assistant serves as the primary source of administrative support for the Cedarville Theological Seminary. The Administrative Assistant tracks student enrollment, registration, schedules, and order of courses to ensure student progress. This position also assists with academic advising as needed. Additional responsibilities include assisting with planning and facilitating special activities in the SBTS and facilitating meetings between prospective students and faculty to assist with student recruitment. Time management and communication are essential, including the ability to relate well to faculty, staff, and students with a pleasant demeanor.This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials and other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check. This position is located in Cedarville, Ohio.Position RequirementsBachelor's degree or prior administrative assistant/office support experience preferred.Excellent communication and human relations skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse constituenciesProven ability to serve in a friendly, professional, and responsive mannerProficiency in the use of various software and browser-based applications, including spreadsheets and report-based softwareStrong organizational and decision-making skillsAbility to handle confidential information professionallyAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesQualified applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
