Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. As a vital resource in the school community, you will provide direct services as well as consultative support to staff and parents.Desired Qualifications and Experience:Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (Illinois)Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited programPrevious experience working with elementary-aged students preferredProficient in conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing intervention plansFamiliarity with special education laws, IEP process, and multi-tiered systems of supportExceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsCommitment to equity, inclusion, and fostering positive rapport with studentsKey Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and participate in eligibility meetingsDesign and implement academic and behavioral interventions tailored to diverse learnersProvide individual and group counseling to address students' social-emotional needsConsult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that improve educational outcomesParticipate in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as neededContribute to IEP/504 development, progress monitoring, and compliance documentationExperience a role where your insights and care truly make a difference, driving positive change for students and the school community.
