Electrical Engineer(Only W2)
Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute research plans to evaluate emerging grid technologies.Support and, over time, lead projects related to grid operations and planning tools.Perform power system analysis, modeling, and simulation, including digital twin applications.Apply data analytics and visualization techniques to large power system datasets.Document study assumptions, methodologies, and results.Prepare clear technical reports and project presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Manage multiple concurrent tasks and project priorities.Collaborate effectively within cross-functional research teams.Participate in limited overnight travel as required.Required Qualifications:1-6 years of related engineering experience.Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) – Required.Proficiency in power system modeling and simulation using tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, or PSS®E – Required.Preferred Qualifications:Specialization in Power Systems.Experience or training in computer programming (Python, C#, SQL).Experience or training in data science and data analytics.Knowledge of databases, data structures, and computer networking.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proven ability to work independently with limited direction.Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation.Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
