SQL DEVELOPER

We are currently seeking a talented SQL Developer to join our team and help us continue our mission of providing exceptional care to children. Position Overview: As a SQL Developer at VigorCare Pediatric Services, you will play a critical role in our organization's success by designing, developing, and maintaining our SQL databases. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing SQL queries, developing data models, and ensuring the integrity and security of our databases. You will work closely with our IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve database performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases for various applications and systems Create and optimize SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data Develop data models to support business requirements Ensure the integrity and security of databases by implementing data backup and recovery plans Identify and troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions Develop and maintain technical documentation for databases and processes Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database development and management Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards Mentor and train junior developers on SQL development and best practices Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong knowledge of SQL and database design principles Experience with database administration and performance tuning Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
