DescriptionJob Overview: 11:00pm-7:30am (Shift subject to change based on business needs)The Surveillance Agent is responsible for observing, documenting, and reporting activities associated with gaming and non-gaming operations, adherence to regulatory requirements and procedures, and following approved surveillance department procedures. The Surveillance Agent works to protect company assets by detecting theft, cheating and other illegal activities by guests and/or employees. The resulting creation of wealth will grow opportunities for all.Duties And ResponsibilitiesConducts yourself in accordance with WCH Gaming purpose, expectation guide, and department proceduresTrains in all aspects of surveillance and casino topics to include, camera and equipment utilization, cheating methods and detection techniques, game protection, casino department procedures and other necessary staff training or developmentUtilizes necessary surveillance cameras, equipment and software to identify, record, document and report any suspicious behavior or illegal activityObserves, documents, records, and reports regulatory or procedural violationsActively monitors casino activity and report findingsMonitors sensitive areas and restricted access areas to ensure only authorized personnel enter those areasAccurately completes routine video reviews, reports, log entries, video reviews, and all other functionsMonitors specific processes to ensure compliance with cash handling regulations and proceduresMaintains an awareness of current regulations, controls, policies and standards for adherence and compliance with requirementsMaintains security of designated areas and the confidentiality of all relevant informationReports any technical issues, suspicious behavior/activity, security and safety risks, any illegal activity, improprieties, and violations to the department managementConducts special observations as directed by department managementAssists with investigations when instructed by Director of Regulatory CompliancePerforms other duties as assigned or directedJob Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be twenty-one (21) years of age or olderOne (1) year of related experience in casino gaming, casino cash operations, CCTV, security, loss prevention, or investigations- requiredReport writing; a report writing assignment will be administered prior to any interviewDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingMust possess a high level of maturity with the ability to self-manageDue to the dynamic nature of this position, job duties and responsibilities can change without noticeWilling to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this positionMust have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environmentNATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN PREFERENCE IN HIRING POLICY SHALL BE ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMESComplaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
