Entry Level Mechanical Inspector

The Entry Level Mechanical Inspector is responsible for performing in-process inspections on materials used in fabrication, documenting and recording inspection results, and reporting findings in accordance with company procedures. The position also ensures that inspection and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and that all inspection, examination, and test procedures are approved prior to use.Location: Orrville, OHPrimary ResponsibilitiesPerform in-process inspections on materials and components used in fabricationDocument and record inspection results accurately and in accordance with company proceduresReport inspection findings as required by established standardsVerify calibration status and proper condition of inspection and measuring equipmentEnsure all inspection, examination, and test procedures are approved prior to useOperate a forklift to assist with setup of materials and components for inspectionPackage and prepare items for shipping in accordance with standard proceduresQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to follow written procedures and work instructionsBasic mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detailPrior experience performing dimensional inspections preferredExperience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, scales, tape measures, and go/no-go gauges preferredFamiliarity with quality control or manufacturing environments preferredA Generation Ahead by Design™Investing In People Who Power The Future.We believe great work deserves great rewards.
