HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager

Position SummaryA leading mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, client relationships, and field coordination while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.Responsibilities: Manage commercial HVAC and plumbing construction projects from award through completion.Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and field coordination.Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field teams.Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing, and project documentation.Monitor project costs, labor productivity, and overall project performance.Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and contract requirements.Support preconstruction planning, equipment procurement, and project forecasting.Qualifications: 5+ years of project management experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing construction.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, piping, and mechanical equipment.Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Experience managing commercial, healthcare, industrial, education, or large-scale projects.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.Experience with BIM/VDC coordination and scheduling software.OSHA 30 certification preferred.
