You’ll have the opportunity to take initiative, lead meaningful projects, and influence outcomes in ways that drive both client success and your own professional growth.Position OverviewThe Project Surveyor supports the successful delivery of surveying projects by coordinating field and office activities, preparing survey deliverables, and collaborating closely with licensed surveyors, engineering teams, and field crews. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate project setup, clear communication, and efficient execution from project initiation through completion. This position will support markets in Fort Myers, Naples, and the surrounding areas.This position is temporarily remote and requires being located in a commutable distance from Fort Myers to accommodate for in-person collaboration and project needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to plan and coordinate surveying projectsGather and organize all project-related information necessary to prepare field crews for successful executionCoordinate with field crews regarding project scope and progress updatesWork closely with the engineering department to align survey deliverables with project expectations and timelinesPrepare survey deliverables, including topographic surveys and boundary plats, under the supervision of a PLSPrepare field calculations and documentation to support construction staking activitiesCoordinate scheduling and logistics with site superintendents and other project stakeholdersMaintain clear communication among internal teams to support efficient project workflows and quality outcomesQualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of land surveying experienceStrong understanding of surveying principles, workflows, and field-to-finish processesExperience using AutoCAD Civil 3DFamiliarity with legal records researchStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesEffective communication and coordination skills with both field and office teamsPreferred QualificationsSurveyor-in-Training (SIT) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licenseWhy You'll Love Working HereProfessional GrowthTuition reimbursement & on-demand trainingClear career paths & promotion opportunitiesMentorship from peers and leadersCulture & CommunityBook club, happy hours & social eventsInclusive, collaborative environmentAnnual all-team meeting & donation match programRewarding CompensationCompensation: $85,000-$110,000The salary range provided is a general guideline.
