The Process Engineer will report to the Plant Manager and lead the process engineering team to ensure the site's success. The main responsibilities include optimizing cost, quality, productivity, and reliability through continuous improvement activities.Job Responsibilities:Operate and monitor automated fiberglass coating lines to meet production targetsResolve process problems through continuous improvement activitiesDevelop standard work and provide training to ensure consistent plant processesCommission new production equipment, monitor modifications, upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processesCollaborate with Senior Manufacturing Engineer and Production Manager to improve plant efficiencyMeasure, test, and evaluate product characteristicsManage process changes from conception to successful product manufacturingProvide technical leadership for environmental monitoring and control processesWork closely with quality control and maintenance teamsIdentify root causes and recommend corrective actionsEducation, Certifications, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering3-5 years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in wet-formed fiberglass mat process or similar industriesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail
