At Superscapes, we prioritize people, innovation, and excellence in every project we undertake.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Houston, TX for a Landscape Manager. The Landscape Manager will oversee daily operations including landscape maintenance, landscape enhancement, irrigation systems management, project planning, and staff supervision. Responsibilities also include ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, executing high-quality landscape designs, and maintaining client satisfaction through consistent communication and performance.Job Responsibilities• Understanding job/client needs via communication with the Account Managers. • Managing all landscape enhancement services, including the coordination of all materials, labor, equipment and subcontractors required to produce quality work. • Communicating with Irrigation Manager on what is necessary to install sold jobs. • Work with Fleet Manager/Production Manager to ensure proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for equipment assigned to crews. • Work with Upper Management to identify staffing needs, hire new crews and maintain crew appropriate crew sizes for different times of year. • Prepare daily crew schedules and communicate schedules to Account Managers/Irrigation Managers • Ensuring proper paperwork is completed for all employee changes and hires with HR Manager. • Provide hands-on training and supporting of crew members, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards. • Focusing on safety and monitor safety records for assigned crews. • Maintaining and managing all required administrative systems, including but not limited to time sheets, job databases, and service schedules. • Ordering materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries • Requesting purchase orders and use in accordance with company guidelines. QualificationsStrong expertise in Landscape Maintenance and Landscape ManagementExperience with Irrigation systems and their maintenanceProficiency in Landscape Design and Landscape Construction techniquesEffective team leadership and project management skillsExcellent communication and client relationship-building abilitiesAbility to manage budgets, timelines, and compliance with safety standardsKnowledge of South Texas plant species and climates is a plusRelevant certifications or a degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field is preferredSkills Required• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent Time Management skills • Driver’s License with clean driving record • Ability to pass drug and background screening. • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture(preferred), or related field of study Benefits• Competitive salary with bonus opportunities • Paid holidays and vacation • 401k offered • Health, vision, and Dental insurance offered • Company vehicle
