Senior Process Technician

1st Shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM): Monday - Friday $35-40/hour About the Role: We're seeking a skilled Senior Process Technician to join a manufacturer located near Pendleton, IN. In this role, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the efficient production of top-tier molded components. Your expertise will be essential for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and enhancement of injection molding processes. Essential Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience in injection molding. Hold an RJG Mold Master II certification or be prepared to acquire it. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough root cause analyses of process variations and implement robust corrective measures to prevent recurrence. Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, maintenance, and production teams to facilitate successful new product introductions, process enhancements, and tooling modifications. Provide guidance and training to less experienced technicians, focusing on equipment operation, process management, and adherence to quality benchmarks. Ensure meticulous upkeep of process documentation, including machine setup logs, SPC data, and quality assessments. Spearhead or actively participate in continuous improvement projects, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness. Configure, calibrate, and operate injection molding machinery to reliably meet production targets and uphold stringent quality standards. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve intricate process-related challenges, addressing molding imperfections, equipment failures, and inconsistencies in materials. Fine-tune molding parameters to achieve faster cycle times, minimize waste, and elevate the overall quality of finished parts.
