The Deli Cook will be responsible for preparing fresh deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot specialties, with consistent quality and presentation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining proper food safety standards, managing inventory, operating kitchen equipment, and assisting in developing new menu items. Teamwork, multitasking, and a commitment to exceptional culinary craftsmanship are critical components of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in food preparation, knife skills, and knowledge of various cooking techniquesExperience in handling and preparing deli meats, cheeses, and related productsStrong understanding of food safety, sanitation procedures, and proper storage practicesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment with attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to manage inventory effectivelyGood communication skills to collaborate with team membersPrevious experience in a similar culinary or food service role is preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus
