Job Title: IT Strategic Sourcing AnalystLocation: Jersey City, NJ or Tampa, FL (Hybrid)Employment Type: Contract (6+ months to start)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst to support procurement and vendor sourcing activities across a broad range of technology categories.This role focuses on executing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and driving cost-effective purchasing decisions for IT products and services such as software, cloud, hardware, and telecommunications.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly ramp up, operate independently, and manage multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the execution of IT sourcing strategies across categories such as software, cloud, hardware, telecom, and IT servicesManage the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle, including:RFP / RFQ / RFx executionVendor evaluationContract coordinationPartner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support procurement requestsAssist in vendor selection and onboarding processesSupport contract negotiations and renewals to ensure competitive pricing and minimize riskParticipate in vendor meetings and QBRs, preparing materials and tracking performanceAnalyze spend data and contracts to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunitiesEnsure compliance with procurement policies, controls, and governance standardsProvide updates on sourcing activities, timelines, and risks to stakeholdersCollaborate with sourcing leadership to align on category strategy and sourcing prioritiesRequired Qualifications4–6 years of experience in:IT sourcingProcurementVendor managementExperience executing RFP, RFQ, or RFx processesExposure to sourcing across IT categories such as:Software / SaaSCloud (AWS, Azure, etc.)Telecom / networkingIT servicesBasic understanding of contracting and supplier negotiationsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills with experience in spend analysis and reportingAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
