Learning and Development Program Assistant (Contract)

Job Summary
Support the development and coordination of complex projects delivered by the Learning and Development program to integrate them into a comprehensive training package. Focus on project flow and communication, writing, and editing content that accommodates diverse learning styles and fits the pace and style of various learning and development modalities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborate with subject matter experts and design team by scheduling and coordinating meetings and deliverables.
Support the design team with editing, reviewing, and revising curriculum content as needed.
Ensure consistency and accuracy in all documents and content.
Assist the L&D administration with project management scheduling.
Assist with developing and maintaining course project plans, tracking on‑time delivery of projects.
Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation and reports.
Support the data governance analyst to evaluate internal systems for efficiency and develop protocols for handling and processing data.
Assist with data monitoring, reporting, and quality assurance of data reports.
Create, run, and disseminate reports of evaluation results to management staff.
Other duties as assigned within scope.
Travel Requirements
Statewide travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Psychology, Social Work, Communication, or related field.
Demonstrated editorial experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
Editorial experience with digital educational capabilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data collection and reporting tools.
Proficiency in educational and technical writing, strong writer with attention to detail.
Excellent digital adaptability skills for diverse project styles.
Innovative and solutions‑oriented thinker with excellent communication skills.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full‑time Civil Service 5001 – Program Assistant position, appointed on a 12‑month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the posting closes. The advertised salary range is $21.95–$32.64 per hour (annual $42,802.50–$63,648). The budgeted annual salary is $26.88–$27.69 per hour ($52,416–$54,000). The position is not eligible for work‑authorization sponsorship. Hybrid work options may be available.
