By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and train quality inspection personnel and technicians.Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer specifications.Investigate non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, such as defect rates, scrap, and rework, to identify trends and drive improvements.Develop, update, and enforce quality control plans, inspection procedures, and work instructions.Facilitate internal quality audits and support external audits from customers or regulatory bodies.Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.3+ years of experience in quality assurance/control roles within a manufacturing environment.1+ year of direct supervisory or team leadership experience.Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Bonus QualificationsLean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higherExperience with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor certificationDemonstrated experience leading continuous improvement initiativesJob Titles That Should ApplyQuality Supervisor, QA Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Quality Control Supervisor, QC Supervisor, Quality Team Lead, Quality Lead, Production Quality Supervisor, Manufacturing Quality SupervisorWhy Pivot GroupThe Pivot Group was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
