Bridgewater Dairy, located in Montpelier, OH is hiring a Farm Manager Trainee to support all crop farming operations.A family-owned business, Bridgewater Dairy has grown to include 3 entities - Bridgewater Dairy LLC, Bridgewater Farming LLC, and Oakshade Dairy LLC. Collectively, our operations manage over 5,500 dairy cows and cultivate more than 6,500 acres of farmland across Northwest Ohio.We're hiring a Farm Manager Trainee in Montpelier, OH to develop expertise in farm operations and business management. In this hands-on role, you will work closely to support the Farm Manager to execute the planting, spraying, irrigating and harvesting of all crops. You will serve as a lead operator while actively supporting the coordination of our seasonal workforce. You'll also work closely with our precision agriculture technology and crop management data, contributing to informed decision-making and efficient field operations. Responsibilities also include managing the manure application on our fields. We're looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in operational excellence.What you will be doing:Assist in the supervision of crop management including tillage, irrigation, planting, spraying, growing, and harvestingOperate equipment for planting and spray applicationMonitor crop health throughout the growing seasonOversee the precision ag technology and equipment calibrationOperate and repair farm equipment when necessaryLead and direct individuals and teams in performing a wide array of agricultural functions across the farmCoordinate with local ag retail locations on agronomy recommendations and outside custom manure applicatorsCollect and assess operational data to assist leadership in improving organizational efficiencyLead seasonal employees during the peak growing seasonSupport compliance with all safety measures across the farmJ-18808-Ljbffr
