Job Summary: The ShippingClerk assists with incoming and outgoing shipments, ensures that allorders are filled correctly, keeps track of inventory in the area,assists with daily stocking levels, and assists with tracking the dateof delivery and all pertinent information involved in the process.Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Nothing in this jobdescription restricts management\'s right to assign or reassign dutiesand responsibilities to this job at any time). Maintain accurateinventory records for incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items forshipment. Check and compare item details (counts, weights, measurements)for incoming and outgoing shipments. Verify shipment information againstbills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records, and track date ofdelivery and all other pertinent information involved. Track deliverydates and related shipment details. Performs other job-related duties asassigned by primary supervisor. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE ANDQUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Clean and valid driver\'s license preferred with reliable transportationto and from work. Ability to read, speak and understand both verbal andwritten instructions in the English language. Shipping experience withUPS World ship and/or Fed Ex Manager is preferred. Preferred experienceoperating a forklift and pallet jack. Knowledge of Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook) Is Required. Experience With Enterprise ResourcePlanning (ERP) systems or the willingness to learn. Organizedself-starter with the ability to multitask. Ability to workindependently, as well as part of a team. Ability to follow establishedproduct handling procedures while complying with safety andElectrostatic Discharge (ESD) guidelines. Able to coordinate with theSales team to maintain on-schedule daily shipments. Professionalcommunication skills for phone and email interactions.
