Groundskeeper

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundsman to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our property. This role focuses primarily on trash removal, upkeep of common areas and basic exterior maintenance to support a safe and welcoming environment for residents. Key Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout the property, including common areas, breezeways, parking lots, and dumpster enclosures Maintain cleanliness around trash compactor and dumpster areas Sweep and blow walkways, sidewalks, stairs, and parking areas Remove debris from curbs, drains, and entryways Assist with basic exterior upkeep such as replacing light bulbs, signage, or minor repairs as assigned Report safety hazards, property damage, or maintenance concerns to management Assist with seasonal duties such as snow and ice removal from walkways and entrances Follow all safety procedures and company policies while working independently or as part of a team Qualifications Prior experience in janitorial, porter, grounds, or maintenance support roles preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Dependable, punctual and detail-oriented Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 20 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
