Mittera is currently seeking a Folder Operator on 1st or 2nd shift!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Set up and run Stahl, MBO, and Baum FoldersEvaluate and make decisions concerning quality of product while foldingReview job tickets and plan work processes to meet customer specificationsPrepare load flags on each outgoing load showing the next operation or destinationNotify supervision of mechanical/electrical problems and complete \"Work Orders\" for parts/repairs that require maintenance assistancePerform routine and preventative maintenance on all assigned equipmentEnsure good housekeeping practices are followed in order to maintain a clean, healthful, and safe work areaAssist on other machines as neededAssist with hand work as neededListen to and follow directions of the supervisorEnsure production meets department goals and metricsFollow all PPE and safety procedures and assist Operator, crew, and department in identifying areas for improvement in safetyComplete all annual compliance trainingMeet company standards for attendance and punctuality and communicate effectively with team membersAll other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Previous folder operator experience preferred but not requiredPrevious manufacturing experience preferredEffective communications skillsPhysical RequirementsRequires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bendingPushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs.Mittera is a leading-edge company that provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.
