Maintenance Technician

Job SummaryThe incumbent of this position performs skilled repair and maintenance work of technology-related equipment as well as conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesOperates standard and specialized electronics devices in testing and troubleshooting technology-related equipment and systems. Uses a work-order tracking system for routine repair and maintenance of equipment. Refers complex problems to higher level administrators support.Perform routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to ensure optimal performance.Troubleshoot and repair advanced equipment, including robotics, automation systems, and software-controlled machinery.Operate, program, and maintain PLCs, control systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Diagnose and address issues in building management systems, HVAC systems, and other integrated technologies.Collaborate with information technology team members to implement technology upgrades and system improvements.Duties may include performing work with high-voltage electric. Performs other duties as assigned. Education And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required.Graduation from a two-year college or technical school, preferred.One year of experience in related work, preferred.Other education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration
