Cloud Security Engineer

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you’ll research, design, and develop automation and Cybersecurity solutions to protect our client's most sensitive information in AWS. You’ll coordinate with investment teams, executives, clients, and industry leading vendors to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective Cloud-hosted solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. Empower change with us. You Have: · Experience monitoring threats, weaknesses and vulnerabilities that apply to a cloud platform, potential attack vectors, and applicable security controls · Experience researching and informing the Program on cloud security best practices, AWS capabilities and services, compliance requirements, and FedRAMP authorization processes · Experience assisting with the development of the security architecture and security package documents, and policy documents · Experience drafting, revising and managing System Security Plans, Information System Contingency Plans · Experience leading security controls reviews · Experience addressing findings and documenting Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs), reporting and managing cyber security compliance processes · Knowledge of security compliance regulations · Public Trust clearance · Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have · Experience in applying and managing physical security requirements · Experience in military or civilian government, including federal, state, or local · Experience with handling SCI or special category information Clearance: Active IRS MBI is required Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Compensation Package: Overtime pay Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: AWS: 3 years (Required) Cybersecurity: 3 years (Required) Cloud security: 3 years (Required) Work Location: Remote
