Job Overview As a Caregiver in our Assisted Living facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with a knowledgeable team to provide personalized assistance with daily living activities, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere. This position is perfect for someone who excels in providing empathetic care and can effectively work in a team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, promoting a pleasant and engaging living environment. Help residents with mobility and physical exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Monitor and report changes in residents’ health status to ensure their safety and well-being. Support residents in managing medications under the supervision of healthcare providers. Maintain a clean and orderly living environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Participate in recreational activities and programs to enhance residents’ quality of life. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous caregiving experience, preferably in an assisted living or similar setting. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
