Receiving Inspector
Receiving InspectorWe are looking for a Receiving Inspector to work closely within the Materials Management and Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain team is a key function in procuring & managing the production flow of goods and services to ensure manufacturing readiness. The Receiving Inspector position is on site at the Apex Production facility. The main responsibilities are, receiving inbound materials, ensuring they meet product and quality specifications, and documenting this within our ERP system.Responsibilities:Receive and inspect all inbound materials against engineering drawings, purchase orders, and quality requirementsCycle Counts as neededImplement and develop receiving inspection practicesTimely inspection of materialsDocument receiving discrepancies and escalate quality issues to appropriate stakeholdersPicking of parts and delivering them to inventory or production locations as neededAccurately receive materials in the ERP system and maintain inventory traceabilitySupport the development and improvement of receiving inspection processes and standard workCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quicklyDemonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions and daily workRequirements:Must be a US Person2+ Years of inventory control experienceMRP experienceExcel ProficiencyAbility to operate a forklift and relevant equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to identify non-conforming materialsStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsAbility to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesHours are from 6:00am to 3:00pmMust be willing to work overtime as neededAbility to complete physical task such as lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, and moreApex believes in creating a work environment that you look forward to embracing every day.
