Make a Difference in a Rural Community (3 Months or More): Contribute to the well-being of a vibrant rural community by providing essential primary care services, including: Preventative care (e.g., annual physicals, immunizations) Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Acute illness treatment (e.g., colds, infections) Women's health services Minor procedures (e.g., injections, IUD placement) Build trusting relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds, including migrant and refugee populations, utilizing on-site interpretation services when needed. Play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare to underserved communities with a focus on social determinants of health. Fast-Paced Environment with Collaborative Support: Manage a patient schedule of up to 21 patients per day, ensuring efficient and compassionate care. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with a dedicated lunch break, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including medical assistants, mental health therapists, dietitians, and potentially an on-site pediatrician. Streamlined Technology & Comprehensive Training: Benefit from a comprehensive one-week orientation followed by hands-on training to ensure a smooth transition into the role, especially for providers unfamiliar with the Community Health Center environment. Utilize the user-friendly EPIC electronic medical record system for efficient documentation and streamlined workflows. Additional Information: This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a supportive setting near Mineral, WA, with an initial contract length of three months and the potential for extension. We are seeking a physician who is fluent in Spanish to effectively communicate with a significant portion of our patient population.
