Chaplain

DescriptionSummaryThe Chaplain role provides and coordinates all spiritual care services by providing spiritual care assessment and spiritual/emotional care interventions and support. This is a per diem role with an expectation of 2-4 hours/weekly but up to 24 occasionally when providing coverage for staff time off. This role will also travel between our Pen Bay and Waldo Hospital locations.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: Bachelor's or Master's level Degree in Theology, or a Master's Degree in Counseling or Divinity preferred. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) may be required. 4 units of CPE preferred.License/Certifications: Currently licensed and/or ordained within a recognized faith community required. Board Certification by the APC, NACC, NAJC, CAPPE, or SCA preferred. Valid Driver's License required.Experience: Relevant experience in the provision of professional ministry or chaplaincy required.
